ABOUT OUR TEAM
Dr. Loren Stoner
Dr. Stoner developed his passion for natural healing and chiropractic from his personal experiences and watching his uncle’s practices as they worked to help their communities. From boyhood on he has been inspired to bring this safe and effective method of helping the body heal itself. Seeing his younger brother’s asthma resolve and now, since graduating from the National College of Chiropractic College in 1985, helping hundreds of his patients get much needed relief and improved health by applying chiropractic principles keeps him passionate about his science and art.
Dr. Stoner is motivated to maintain his own health with regular adjustments, optimal nutrition, regular physical activity and service to his community to keep up with his wife Becky, his sons Jesse and Ben, their wives and now his granddaughter as she grows up. He has earned his fourth degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, remains committed to regular physical exercise and ongoing education to be prepared to help his patients. When he can he likes to think he can catch fish.
Rebecca Stoner was inspired to be a physical therapist by her grandfather at a young age and graduated from UM Mpls in 1978 with a BS degree. She has worked in many varied settings from teaching at Dr. Stoner’s chiropractic college/clinic to hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care, pediatrics, long term care, was a district manager for NovaCare, and her long term goal was to work with Loren in their own clinic. That dream has come true with our Wellness Center. Working part time allows us to see our kids and grandkids more!
She has had extensive continuing education training, and has been a Teaching Assistant with the Barral and Upledger Institutes. Her current specialties are treating new and old pain, migraines/headaches, post-concussion issues,TMJ issues, scar/fascial adhesions, nerve/cranial/visceral mobilization, ribs, tailbones, pelvic floor (male and female) and unusual pain issues.
